Australian Dollar Hits 18 Year High

18 Year High for the $AUD

25th June 2007 saw the Australian dollar hit a record. With coninuing strength across the globe the Aussie dollar continues to sky rocket.

The AUD hit a peak of US$84.97 its our highest level since Feb 1989, our dollar was the WORLDS second biggest gainer behind our neighbours the New Zealanders.

Forecasts supplied by the banks indicate the AUD could hit as high as 87c before the years end, this is great news for holiday makers and something we can all look forward to when buying products online from the US.

Lets hope the US economy stays steady and that the US stock exchange remains strong.
